The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere was inviting. I was with a larger party, and the service was a bit slow, but the food was absolutely delicious. There wasn't a lot of gluten-free options, but my meal (pictured) was amazing. There were lots of cocktails to choose from as well. My colleagues said the cornbread that came first was very tasty.

OMG!! I absolutely loved this dining experience. Today is my sister's and my niece's birthday and we went there for the first time . When we arrived , a very charismic young man named Chris greeted us and escorted us to our dining area. Chris was polite , professional and bubbly. Throughout our dining experience we had a wonderful waitress by the name on Tarenthia , who goes by T; we absolutely loved her cheekiness, knowledge of the menu including spirits and her down to earth personality. The food was delicious! I ordered the Yankee Pot roast, my sister ordered the Salmon and my niece ordered a full on platter that included fried chicken and ribs. I also ordered the Farmers Daughter Cocktail, OMG ..it was so delicious! We had a blast! We will definitely be back ! We can't wait. GIVE CHRIS & TARENTHIA A RAISE, THEY'VE EARNED IT!

My women’s ministry group came here to fellowship and connect after working on a collaborative project. We chose this location because of the guaranteed parking, food recommendation and we didn’t have to pay a minimum price for our food service. The service was great and they accommodated our group seating preferences. I was a little disappointed with the menu because I really wanted an omelette but the breakfast scramble was my next choice. I started with the crab dip which was very yummy and the bread was delicious. I shared it with the ladies. That was a 8/10. My main course was the mushroom scramble with grits. The grits were a bit grainy but I knew that fruit should have been my first option for my side order since I am highly weight conscious. I order coffee and water as my beverages. Overall I would rate my meal and coffee as a 7/10 but the service was 9 and they validate parking up to a certain percentage. That was helpful. Instead of paying 25 bucks I paid $12. I would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to returning because of the service, ambience and experience. The decor is bright, floral, and a bit bohemian I might try their burgers or another breakfast dish. Last but not least, they had a yummy bakery with handmade treats and desserts,a full bar and coffee stand; and the bathrooms were clean for the most part and they had a family bathroom and gender neutral bathrooms.

I’ve been to the Foggy Bottom location twice, and wanted to see what other wonderful things Founding Farmers had in store…and Alexandria did not disappoint!! The ambiance of the restaurant is so thoughtfully curated down to every detail, and both the food and service were excellent. The ricotta gnocchi pomodoro was fresh & vibrant, and the warm rotisserie chicken salad was out of this world. The staff was also so kind—we had a slight issue with the order (wrong dish brought out, no biggie) and two separate managers checked in on us to make sure everything was okay, which really highlights how much Founding Farmers is committed to guest experience. We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend Founding Farmers to all!!

Had the sweetest brunch at Founding Farmers with the girls and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was chef’s kiss. We also shared the cinnamon roll skillet for the table and it was the perfect indulgent treat.
Bri, our server, was amazing!!! She was attentive, super friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, beautiful ambience, and genuinely wonderful service. Definitely a spot to visit for brunch! ✨🍳🥂

Had an absolutely fantastic Valentine’s Day night. The old bay tacos and wings were fire. Our server Emilio was amazing 10/10 service. Jay also stopped by and was great too! Will definitely be coming back soon for brunch.

Amazing Flavor not just for the chicken jockeys
Having been to another location, I kind of knew to expect good, sustainable food prepared in appetizing ways at a reasonable price. What I wasn't expecting was great flavor for ordering what some would consider safe or boring choices. I got the chicken tenders with sides of broccoli salad and sauteed spinach. And an appetizer of the wings. First let me start with the wings, succulent soy garlic flavor with a nice char on each wing. The wings were small which I would expect for wings from antibiotic and hormone free chicken so I wasn't mad at the size. Topped with scallions and a squeeze of lime, oh so finger lickin' sweet. Would recommend any day for wing night. The chicken tenders were the crunchiest chicken tenders I've ever had. This is after ordering delivery. The breading is rather thick for my preference but the crunch is worth the sacrifice, seems panko breaded or something similar. The chicken was very tender inside and has the texture of never frozen or tenderized chicken. One of my tenders had a very chewy piece of cartilage that I think someone forgot to trim out but hey we sometimes do this when preparing at home. The broccoli salad was one of my favorites as it was fresh, crunchy and right balance with a slight sweetness. A great summer salad with broccoli, blueberries, almonds, and sunflower seeds. I also got a side of the sauteed spinach and was a little let down, like the wilted leaves that they were. The flavor in the broth that was used had a deep savory note but on first bite just felt like greased up leaves.you have to like spinach to appreciate this which I did. Perhaps a sprinkling of goat cheese and cranberries would make it more popular. I still ate it all. Oh but I almost forgot about the chicken tenders, the sauce that came with it is a unique buffalo sauce that I've never had before. Seems like a buffalo sauce that you would mainly find in the M part of the DMV, which I think would be a gr

Ty provided excellent service during our very first visit with Founding Farmers in Alexandria. He was super knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. The atmosphere that the team created really made us feel welcome. I enjoyed the scratch-made soda he recommended, as well. Delicious! Everything on the menu is beautifully plated and really tasted. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
